Sean todos Bienvenidos al Portal de GNU/LinUPS comunidad de Software Libre de la Universidad Politécnica Salesiana "UPS" Ecuador Sede Quito Campus Sur. Estamos prestos a seguir colaborando con las actividades de la UPS y siempre tomando nuevas iniciativas de toda la familia Salesiana.

Este portal será el punto de encuentro para compartir experiencias en todo ámbito como en el campo tecnològico, académico, social, etc. siempre tomando en cuenta los principios del Software Libre que se centra en las cuatro libertades: 1) Usar el software para cualquier propòsito, 2) Tener acceso al código fuente y saber como está realizado dicho software, 3) Distribuir copias por algún medio del Software, 4) Distribuir y realizar mejoras del Software siempre tomando en cuenta y crédito de los desarrolladores iniciales.

Este Club no solo se centra en los principios del Software Libre también tenemos convencimiento acerca del conocimiento libre que es muy beneficioso para desarrollarnos y desde luego hay nuevos conceptos como el Hardware Libre y ciertas aplicaciones en las cuales su principal eje es la libertad.

Sean todos bienvenidos al Club de Software Libre GNU/LinUPS y hagamos de este un espacio que nos identifique con una comunidad que siempre está presta a colaborar.
